First Steps into Open-Source Hardware
In 2015, Daniele graduates from the Fab Academy with AAVOID, an obstacle avoiding drone, as his final project.
During this time, he learns about electronics and develops the Satshakit, a family of open-source microcontroller boards released with complete design files and documentation under a hardware-appropriate license. These early boards introduce him to the principles of open-source hardware and form the basis for his later machine designs.
