Who are we?
InMachines Ingrassia GmbH is a young and international company focused on designing and producing open-source digital fabrication machines, such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and others. Located in Schwarzenbek, near Hamburg, InMachines is currently involved in a research project in cooperation with Fab City Hamburg, amongst other international projects. The workshop has 400m², with a wide range of machines and tools to build and produce prototypes and machine parts. You will be part of our team with skills ranging from engineering to design and communication.

Your tasks:
- Produce prototype parts
- Assembly prototypes
- Outsource production parts
- Maintain machinery
- Install/remove machinery
- Manage company stock and inventory
- Manage ordering of parts and materials
- Drive the forklift
- Manage the shipments in and out
- Take care of safety system
- Manage the tasks of the student interns
- Organize and carry out workshops
- Train employees and guests
- Help with technical consultancy and daily routine tasks
- Maintain the workshop/production/storage area clean, safe and organized
Our requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- Good spoken and written English
- Familiarity with computer controlled machinery
- Work in presence in the company premises in Germany
- Bachelor or Master Degree if coming from outside Europe
- Will to learn basic German and to obtain driving license B and L
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid German working permit
- Driving license B and L valid in Germany
- 1 or more years experience in using computer controlled machinery
- Good spoken and written German
- Bachelor or Master Degree in an Engineering field
- Fab Academy Diploma
- Previous development of hardware projects
- Previous experience with open source projects
- Team-oriented and at the same time independent
- Flexibility, open-mindedness, and the desire to learn
- Organized mind-set
